Release note

            The font is inspired by a vintage penmanship style recommended for librarians to use when writing out card catalogue cards. It closely resembles the style of printing I learned in grade school in northern Vermont in the early 1960s, which is probably why I felt inspired to work so hard to turn it into a font. The base sample came from the facsimile of the Disjoined Hand on page 71 of the book "Library Primer" by John Cotton Dana, published in 1899.

There are 650 glyphs in this font, covering all the special characters/diacritics for European languages that use the Latin character set (i.e, not Greek or Cyrillic), an array Unicode characters I like, and a small set of alternate glyphs that can be accessed in the Glyph panel in Adobe products. To show the kerning properly in MS Word, you have to turn on kerning, which is not set by default.
